The accommodation
The wine castle Chateau de Mazelières has 3 lodgings and guest rooms ranging from 110 to 160 m2 with a capacity of up to 22 people. The cottages are open for bookings between April 1 and October 31 and are all equipped with private facilities such as a bathroom, flat screen TV and others depending on the type of cottage. The cottages also have a terrace with access to the castle’s pool.
The winery
Wine castle Chateau de Mazelières, a 17th century castle built in Gascony, nestled in the heart of the Buzet vineyard, on the edge of the Armagnac region, offers several gold medal wines.
The wine estate has an area of 15 hectares, of which 5.6 hectares around the castle. The vines are on average 15 years old and grow on land with an underground of sand and limestone, 8 hectares are planted on the upper slopes of the hilly Montagnac near Nérac, where the vines are on average 45 years old. Chateau de Mazelières is a cooperative member of the Buzet winery. Since 2005, the cooperative has been engaged in viticulture, combining the best of technology, respect for people and the environment.
