The wine castle Chateau de Raissac is a beautiful and exceptional family home in the heart of the Languedoc vineyards, 1 hour from Montpellier airport or 10 minutes from Béziers TGV station in the south of France. As a counterpart to the wine cellar and the cellars, the Chateau de Raissac opens its comfortable rooms for you in an artistic atmosphere, as well as the luxurious reception rooms for the organization of seminars or private events. You are guaranteed to be in a different environment.

The accommodation

The wine castle Chateau de Raissac is the ideal place on the Languedoc Wine Route to relax and enjoy the region’s best wines in a peaceful setting. Chateau de Raissac serves you a French breakfast in the park in the shade of ancient trees while you enjoy the peace and look out on the charming 19th century conservatory. If you prefer it indoors, you can do so in their cozy and intimate 18th-century dining room.

Located on the first and second floors, the 5 bedrooms at Chateau de Raissac are comfortable, spacious and bright, with a view of the park. They each have their own universe and their unique history between antique furniture, art deco accents, various objects and paintings by artists from the 19th or 20th century.

The winery

The wine castle Chateau de Raissac offers elegant wines in a unique setting. Located in the Bas-Languedoc, on the gentle slopes near Béziers, this 80-hectare wine estate has been the passion of the same family since 1828.

Behind the label “Domaine de Raissac” you will discover a harmonious and lively Languedoc vineyard, composed of a mosaic of terroirs that were already cultivated in Roman times. All plots are planted with grape varieties according to the type of soil and the microclimate prevailing there. This great diversity of terroirs offers a palette of the most expressive vintages, ideal for varietal wines or subtle blends with the names of Pays d’Oc wines (IGP) and AOP Languedoc. Matured in a unique cellar excavated in the 17th century in limestone and now fully modernized, the wines are aged under ideal conditions of constant temperature and humidity.
