Chateau La France is an authentic 19th century wine castle in the great wine region of Bordeaux, amid 90 hectares of vineyards. Chateau La France is located 20 km from the historic city of Bordeaux and 20 km from the village of Saint-Emilion (listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site) with its famous monolithic church and the many prestigious castles surrounding it.
The accommodation
With 6 individually decorated bedrooms for a maximum capacity of 14 people, you will appreciate the peace and serenity of the place. The rooms all have a terrace and basic amenities such as a private bathroom, a flat-screen TV and free WiFi. In total autonomy you can enjoy a large park and enjoy in the shade of ancient oaks while the barbecue continues quietly. After doing nothing and a good meal, a dip in the pool will certainly do you good. It is possible to rent the entire castle, which is ideal for large families, couples or friends. Chateau La France is one of the most important areas of Bordeaux with its 90 hectares in one piece. Of the 78 hectares with wine production, 71 hectares in AOC Bordeaux is Superior red and 7 hectares in AOC Bordeaux Blanc Sec. The traditional method of working the vine and wine is combined with the most efficient techniques to express the best of the terroir.
