Program
DAY 1 – FLIGHT TO SEVILLA, SPAIN
Today you take your flight to Seville, Spain. After arrival at Seville airport, you will be met by your driver and transferred to your hotel. After check-in you will be offered a glass of wine as a welcome drink at a rooftop bar in Seville.
Rest of the day / evening for free.

DAY 2 – SEVILLE (B)
After breakfast, the morning is at leisure. In the afternoon you will be offered a wine tasting of 3 high quality wines in the heart of Seville with a passionate wine merchant. You can contact him with any questions you have always had about the wines from Andalusia and other local wines. The rest of the day is at your own expense.

DAY 3: SEVILLE (B, L)
After breakfast, visit the Alcazar of Seville, a royal palace with Mudejar architecture. Then you will explore the Jewish Quarter (Barrio de Santa Cruz). You will have lunch in a local restaurant to discover the gastronomy of Andalusia.
In the afternoon your tour continues with the impressive Cathedral of Seville and the Giralda. If you have time, you can take a trip to the Torre de Oro, the Plaza España or even the Fabrica de tabacos (current university).

DAY 4: SEVILLE – JEREZ DE LA FRONTERA (B)
After breakfast, leave Seville and get a private transfer from Seville to Jerez de la Frontera, a journey of approximately 1 hour. In Jerez de la Frontera, you are expected to take a tour of one of the region’s most famous bodegas or Spanish wineries which has grown into the largest exporter of Jerez wines. The winemakers of this winery created the first large wine cellars in the last century. After the tour you will be offered a wine tasting.

DAY 5: JEREZ DE LA FRONTERA – RONDA (B)
After breakfast you will visit one of the most beautiful bodegas in this region. The project was initiated by the former professor of oenology at the local university and a former winemaker in Domecq, accompanied by his children. During these 15 years they developed Merlot, Syrah and Petit Verdot or Tintilla de Rotadans on marl and plaster bases. They also received the prize for best wine of the year at the 24th edition of the El Mundovino Awards.
After the tour, you will get a private transfer from Jerez de la Frontera to Ronda. In this town where the old and the new centre are separated by a deep gorge, you will discover the Puente Nuevo, a bridge that spans the gorges to connect the new with the old city. You will also visit Casa Don Bosco, Mondragon Palace and Santa María Parish, unless you prefer to focus on Plaza de Toros, one of the oldest and most beautiful bullrings in Spain.

DAY 6: RONDA – GRANADA (B)
Today you will visit a new winery located in a monastery from the 16th century, near Ronda and surrounded by a beautiful and surprising landscape. You will be informed about the wines as well as about its history. In 1998, the current owners bought this 1505 estate from Colombian artist D. Rafael Puyana, restoring the main building and gardens, orchards, ponds, fountains through a thorough and careful restoration.
The vines were newly planted in the lower part of the farm to produce Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Grenache, Graciano, Petit Verdot and Merlot. You will get a private tour by English and Spanish speaking owner. A wine and cold meats tasting is also planned for you after the tour.
After visiting this beautifully renovated winery you will get a private transfer from Ronda to Granada.

DAY 7: GRANADA (B)
Today you will visit the Alhambra. This Nasrid Palace testifies to the history of Granada and its Islamic past. In the majestic complex, you will especially discover it at the Alcazaba, the Nasrid Palaces, the Palace of Charles V and the Generalife. The entire palace with its many irrigated gardens has inspired and still has many legends.
After this, you will visit a beautifully situated winery near Grenada. This 21-hectare estate is an expression of an extraordinary combination of climate factors that determine the region’s curious geography. The harvest arrives in October, after a long ripening and rest, undisturbed by the rain. Internationally known grape varieties such as Syrah, Merlot and Cabernet are produced here, and local varieties such as Tempranillo Local which has almost disappeared. Their fully renovated wine cellar and wines serve as a testing laboratory for one of Bordeaux’s most prestigious oenological wine study centres.

DAY 8: GRANADA – MALAGA (B)
After breakfast and depending on your flight, get a private transfer from your hotel in Granada to Malaga airport. This journey takes approximately 1.5 hours.
