Afterwards you will travel around the beautiful vineyards and have a wine tasting at the best wineries in England. Your trip ends with Stonehenge and the town of Windsor near London. You may extend this trip with a city trip to London. You can choose to travel to England by train or plane for this trip. All in all, an original wine holiday to England, that for sure.

Today you will arrive in the largest city in the South Western of England, Bristol. After arrival, your driver / guide will wait for you at the airport. Afterwards you will receive a transfer from the airport to your hotel in the Roman city of Exeter. After check-in at your hotel, you are expected for a glass of wine as a welcome drink. Depending on your arrival time, there will an opportunity to explore the centre of Exeter. After this you are expected for dinner in a wine restaurant.

Overnight in Exeter.

After breakfast at the hotel, depart for an hour and a half drive south-westward through beautiful countryside to a beautiful winery located above Saint Austell Bay. Their restaurant has its own fresh herb and vegetable garden. You start your visit with a tour and wine tasting, followed by a lunch with wine pairing. Then, travel on to Cornwall’s largest vineyard, which has been producing wine since 1989. This makes it one of the longest existing modern days wineries in England. This afternoon, you will take a Grand Tour & Tasting with the founder and owner of the estate, an afternoon to enjoy. The day ends in St Austell, where you will check in to your hotel. The day ends with a relaxed dinner with local wine pairing.

Overnight in St Austell.

After breakfast, rested and recharged, you will head to one of the best wineries around Penzance. This winery is committed to producing a range of artisanal Cornish wines, ciders and fruit juices in a family-run vineyard and orchard. All of their wines, ciders and fruit juices are also certified vegan.

You will start with a guided tour and (wine) tasting, followed by a light lunch of local crab sandwiches or a local charcuterie platter featuring Cornish Coppa, Salami and Chorizo. If possible, with a delicious bottle of original locally made cider. The afternoon will be spent in a contemporary winery located in a rural setting outside a picturesque fishing village made famous by English chef Rick Stein. It has an excellent collection of Cornish wine and cider. Their tour takes you through the beautiful vineyard and winery. Here you will learn more about grape cultivation in England, ending of course with a tasting of their products.
